Goals/Strategies

Goals-

Some goals of Hawaii's Tourism Authority is to exceed visitor spending targets. (As in making more money through what the tourists spend.) Another goal would be to improve the quality of the Hawaii experience so that the tourists will want to come back again and spend more money. And lastly the Tourism Authority wants to contribute to a better quality life for the Hawaii residents making it so that residents would be okay with the growing tourism and also make it more comfortable for them.

Strategies-

Some strategies for increasing tourism to complete goals would be to use marketing programs, integrated brand management, and more access.

--Using marketing programs would mean that Hawaii would put into effect marketing programs across diverse major market areas to stimulate money being spent from short-term visitors.

--An integrated brand management could be used by putting together a brand management type of approach to make a unique/satisfying experience for both visitors and residents of Hawaii.

--Accessibility would help the tourism by making it so that there are available ways to reach Hawaii that isn't too pricey and make it so that just about anyone can visit Hawaii and add more money to the economy.
